The Spiral Castle Clannad is an association of local Covens (religious congregations/ churches). We are currently working on incorporation in our home state of Kentucky.

Your donations help us maintain this website and pay for professional services (editing, graphics, legal and accounting services) as well as helping us provide relief and comfort to our members in need.

Giving FAQs

  • We are still in the process of filing as a business entity in the state of Kentucky and getting our EIN. Until we have those things in place, we cannot accept donations through the website.

  • Witchcraft is recognized as a religion in the United States, and the spiritual traditions embraced by the Spiral Castle Clannad are typical of those found in other religions.

  • Technically, the chartered Covens within the Clannad are churches. The Clannad itself is a convention or association of churches (covens).

  • Donations to the Spiral Castle Clannad will be used for a number of known expenses and planned projects:

    • maintaining this website;

    • creating educational materials — including books, videos, and more;

    • establishing a scholarship fund for our Witches and their children to attend an accredited post-secondary educational or vocational program;

    • establishing relief grants for our Witches who are experiencing food, clothing, and/or housing insecurity;

    • purchasing land and constructing buildings for our shared religious practice, retirement and care of our elders, and interment of our Beloved Dead; and

    • providing reasonable compensation to the Regent and Grand Coven Officers in their administrative capacity.
